At Southern Charm Precious Paws, deposits and contracts are integral to our dedication to ethical breeding and safeguarding our puppies and families. Deposits demonstrate commitment and allow us to reserve a puppy for your family, turning away other interested parties and initiating personalized care. Our contracts protect the buyer with health guarantees, care standards, and support; protect the breeder by ensuring responsible placement; and most importantly, protect the puppy through return-to-breeder policies and ethical standards. Together, they ensure transparency and peace of mind.

 

Waiting List & Deposit Policy

At Southern Charm Precious Paws, we specialize in colorful Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies of color), which means we are blessed with beautifully unique and vibrant litters. Due to high demand, we maintain an approved waiting list for families interested in reserving a puppy.

Step 1: Join the Waiting List

To be added to our waiting list, there is a $50 non-refundable waiting list fee.

Before we place anyone on the list, we ask a few questions to make sure our puppies are going to safe, prepared, loving homes.

Please be ready to share:

• Your location (city/state)
• Whether your home is prepared for a puppy
• Your experience with Yorkies (or other small breeds)
• Your understanding that Yorkies are very small and delicate and must be closely supervised outdoors (they are small enough that a bird of prey could potentially carry one off)

Our puppies are our babies and require time, attention, and gentle handling. They deserve homes where they will be treated like the little Kings and Queens they are.

Step 2: Selection Order

Families are contacted in the order they joined the waiting list when litters are born.

Puppy selections are typically offered around two weeks of age.

Step 3: Holding Fee After Selection

Once you choose your puppy, a non-refundable holding fee (typically $100.00 to $350.00) is required to reserve your baby.

This holding fee is applied to your final balance.

Final Payment & Pick-Up

The remaining balance is due in CASH ONLY on the day your puppy is picked up.

Health Guarantee

All of our puppies come with a one-year health guarantee from their date of birth. We stand behind our babies and are committed to integrity, transparency, and healthy, well-socialized puppies.
